It is a matter of great pleasure that the BPR&D-Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Ghaziabad, has its dedicated website, serving as an important platform for sharing information on the Institute's training programmes, activities, initiatives and achievements.

The BPR&D-CDTI, Ghaziabad, is committed to strengthening the professional capabilities of police personnel and other law enforcement stakeholders through quality training, capacity building, knowledge sharing and dissemination of good practices and standards. The Institute continuously adapts its training programmes to address emerging challenges in policing and criminal justice through contemporary technologies, innovative methodologies and practical, evidence-based learning.

The newly constructed campus of BPR&D-CDTI, Ghaziabad, is equipped with modern training infrastructure, including a Cyber Lab, smart classrooms, digital teaching aids, syndicate rooms and a modern interrogation room. The campus also provides well-equipped residential and recreational facilities, including hostels, a guest house, a cafeteria, a gymnasium and indoor and outdoor sports facilities, creating a conducive environment for professional learning.

Over the last four financial years, BPR&D-CDTI, Ghaziabad, has conducted 91 courses in 2023-24, 84 in 2024-25, 84 in 2025-26 and 38 in 2026-27, benefiting 6,006, 4,004, 2,998 and 42 participants, respectively. During the same period, the Institute also conducted 86 webinars, benefiting 8,726 participants.

The Institute has also significantly expanded its international outreach, providing specialised training and professional exchange opportunities to law enforcement personnel from partner countries. Under initiatives such as the Colombo Security Conclave, BRICS, BIMSTEC and CICA, BPR&D-CDTI, Ghaziabad, has organised international programmes covering Counter-Terrorism and Radicalization, Counter Violent Extremism and De-Radicalisation, Digital Forensics and Counter-Intelligence, Anti-Money Laundering, Combating Financing of Terrorism, and emerging technology-related security challenges. These programmes strengthen international cooperation and facilitate the exchange of professional expertise in addressing transnational security threats.

BPR&D-CDTI, Ghaziabad, is continuously endeavouring to strengthen its role as a Centre of Excellence in Counter-Terrorism, Counter-Insurgency and related issues, while responding effectively to emerging challenges through technology-enabled, practical and outcome-oriented training.

The website will be regularly updated with the latest information on courses, training activities, achievements, resources and other important developments of the Institute. It is intended to facilitate easy access to relevant information for State Police Organisations, Central Police Organisations and other Law Enforcement Agencies and assist them in effectively utilising available training opportunities.
